Our Week

We had another great week at school. Here are a few of the highlights:

• we worked on patterning in math
• we worked on a fall paragraph writing assignment
• we worked on some mapping activities
• we played cooperative games and worked on movements stations in gym
• continued practicing typing skills
• had 2 evacuation drills
• started a fall painting activity
• practiced some group reading comprehension activities

Next week we will continue patterns and start addition and subtraction strategies. We will work on some Thanksgiving writing activities and complete our art project. We'll wrap up our mapping unit. Our first Science unit will start the third week of October. 

Please do not hesitate to let me know if something is bothering your child. I don't always know what happens at recess time. If there is something, please let me know so I can look into it.
