The kids have been so busy practicing for the Christmas concert. They sound really good. Next week the stage comes and they gt to practice in the gym. If you know that your child will not be attending the concert on December 3, please let me know. Also, if you have a lei at home, please send it in for your child to wear at the concert. 
I hope that everyone had fun at our first Wellness Day this school year. I don't have a lot of photos as I was in a yoga session all afternoon. I hope the your child shared what he/she got to do this time around. After the next 2 Wellness days, all the kids will have had a chance to complete all 12 sessions. The next special afternoon happens in February.

The Grade Two classes have a celebration of the community that we are studying. The cultural days will involve students participating in activities where they experience several aspects of the particular culture or landscapes. This might include completing a special art project, making/tasting food, participating in sports, listening to music, etc.
Here is the letter with details. As our Permission Policy states, the payment available on PowerSchool must be made before 3 pm on December 12, the day before our first Cultural Day.
